John Ray: “Divinity is my Profession”

Summary. John Ray was primarily interested in his work as a naturalist. However, prompted by conscience and the sense of priestly obligation, he authored three books religious character: one on physico-theology, sacred physics, practical theology. The article presents some views expressed these books.
